The World of Dark Forest Meet the creature-siblings Kotaro, Akane and Shigure. Follow their story as they protect their home from the surrounding dark forest.  Not all bonds are about romance. In this game, explore a narrative centered around meaningful connection through kinship, trauma and loss. Why This Game? Through this entire time we’ve strived to make games for our found-families, our communities, and to bring this story of kinship and belonging to spaces where these messages need to be heard the most. Kamegumi is dedicated to maintaining a healthy, non-exploitative, and sustainable environment for its users, partners, and developers. Dark Forest is being co-developed within the group as it embodies the core values that the collective wishes to see grow in the games industry.
